The Story

Zindar in the Time of Prince Kerish-lo-Taan
Seven Citadels Part Three: The Dead Kingdom

Kerish-lo-Taan, third son of the Emperor of Galkis, continues his search for the Saviour
of the doomed kingdom of the Godborn. Only if he is freed can that kingdom be saved. Kerish has found three of the seven legendary sorcerers who hold the keys that will eventually unlock the Saviour's prison.

In The Dead Kingdom, Kerish ventures forward with his three companions: his solider half-brother Lord Forollkin, the hideous insolent servant musician Gidjabolgo, and
Kerish's cousin Gwerath, a Princess of the Eranduchi. The travelers must brave the perils of the burning hot Red Waste in order to reach Tir Tonar, the citadel of Saroc, guarded
by murderous beats and willed with nightmares. They must sail the black waters of the Dead Kingdom, and persuade its long-since-dead but immortal sorcerer to accept his death.
Their search is fraught with horrors and dangerous enticements, and there is the abiding difficulty of persuading each sorcerer to relinquish his key, for with it he gives uo his immortality.

And time is running out, for as they journey on, the travelers hear worse and worse news of Galkis and the many enemies who attack it.
